Return & Refund Policy – amila.guru

This policy applies to all purchases made through amila.guru, including physical products (books/materials) and digital products (courses, downloads, study packs) delivered via WooCommerce and Tutor LMS.


1. Product Types Covered

We sell two categories:

A. Physical Products

(e.g., printed books, study materials shipped within Sri Lanka)

B. Digital Products

(e.g., online courses, recorded lessons, PDFs, study packs via Tutor LMS)


2. Returns – Physical Products (WooCommerce)

We accept returns only for defective or damaged items.

Eligible Conditions:

  • Item is damaged, misprinted, or defective
  • Request made within 7 days of delivery
  • Item is unused and in original condition

Not Eligible:

  • Change of mind
  • Ordering the wrong product
  • Minor variations (color/print differences that do not affect use)

3. Refunds & Replacements – Physical Products

After inspection:

  • Replacement (if stock available), OR
  • 💰 Refund to original payment method

Processing time: 5–10 business days


4. Digital Products & Courses (Tutor LMS)

Due to the nature of digital content:

🚫 No Returns / No Refunds Once Accessed

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Online courses after enrollment
  • Downloaded materials (PDFs, notes, etc.)
  • Completed or partially viewed lessons

Exception (Fair Use Policy)

A refund may be considered ONLY if:

  • A technical issue prevents access, AND
  • The issue is reported within 48 hours of purchase, AND
  • Our team cannot resolve it

5. Course Access Policy (Important for Tutor LMS)

  • Course access is granted immediately after payment
  • Access = consumption of digital service
  • Once access is granted, the purchase is considered used

This aligns with international digital product standards and prevents misuse.


6. Exchanges

  • ❌ We do not offer exchanges
  • For defective physical products → replacement only

7. Order Cancellations

Physical Products:

  • Can be cancelled before shipping only

Digital Products / Courses:

  • Cannot be cancelled after purchase

8. Return Process (WooCommerce Orders)

To request a return:

    • Photo/video proof
  3. Wait for approval before returning item

9. Shipping Costs

  • Return shipping: Customer responsibility
  • Original shipping fees: Non-refundable

To protect our digital content:

  • Multiple refund requests may be declined
  • Accounts abusing refund policy may be restricted
  • Access logs (Tutor LMS) will be used to verify usage
